Dear Doral Eagles Families,

I am beyond excited to welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year! It is an honor to join this incredible community as your new principal. Together, we will focus on serving our community, educating our youth, and prioritizing safety.

We can’t wait to see our Eagles soar this year!

We are thrilled to invite all students and families to Meet the Teacher on Monday, August 11th

  • PreK – 3rd Grade: 5:30 – 6:30 PM 

  • 4th – 8th Grade: 6:30 – 7:30 PM 

This is a wonderful opportunity to see classrooms, meet teachers, drop off supplies, and start the year strong as part of our Eagle family. 

 

First Day of School 

  • School begins Wednesday, August 13th at 8:00 AM. 

  • Dismissal Times: 

  • PreK: 2:45 PM 

  • K – 9th: 3:30 PM 

 

Important Office & Building Access Information 

To prioritize safety during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up: 

  • Parents will not be allowed inside the building before or after school. 

  • Front office hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM for parent access. 

 Car Tags, Backpack Tags, & Middle School Schedules 

  • Available now for pick-up in the front office, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. 

  • Items include: 

  • Car Tags 

  • Backpack Tags (PreK – 2nd Grade) 

  • Middle School Schedules 

Dismissal Procedures

 PreK Families – First Day Procedures 

  • Only PreK families will be allowed inside the building on the first day of school, August 13th, from 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM. 

  • Families must receive enrollment verification to enter. 

  • For verification, contact jpinney@doralacademytx.com 

 School Supplies 

  • All student supplies should be dropped off during Meet the Teacher events. 

School Uniforms 

  • Uniforms are mandatory for both elementary and middle school students. 

  • They can be purchased at the uniform store listed on the school website. 

School Lunch Updates 

  • Lunch accounts are returning to the LINQ platform. 

  • No pre-ordering is required. 

  • Families can: 

  • Send students with lunch money or 

  • Add funds to their student’s LINQ account online. 

Cell Phone Policy 

  • There is zero tolerance for students using smart devices on campus, per House Bill 1481. 

  • Students are expected to keep cell phones and other smart devices powered off and stored away during school hours. 

  • Violations may result in disciplinary action as outlined in our student handbook.
