About our school
Doral Academy is a high-performing charter school in Buda, TX! We are a tuition-free, open-enrollment charter school. Families living within Hays, Wimberley, San Marcos, and Lockhart ISDs are welcome to apply. The Texas Education Agency has approved our charter for a pre-K through 8th-grade campus. Our goal is to expand to a K-12 school eventually.

Doral Academy is excited to offer a rigorous and relevant curriculum featuring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Students learn in an innovative environment fostered by the use of advanced methods and technology.
Open enrollment applications are available online. Students entering Pre-K4 through 9th grade in the 2025-26 school year are welcome to apply. Application and enrollment are FREE but are subject to a lottery.
